photobucket.com is free, seemingly unlimited space and very easy to use. If your pictures are too big for the site, photobucket automatically resizes photos for you, etc. And it also allows you to have photos in a read only mode too - for visiotrs you want to be able to look, but not do any altering, adding, deleting, etc. I like photobcuket as you can have separate albums/slideshoes for different subjects (e.g. one album for each holiday you have, etc.)

This is mine if you ewant to have a look round a site and see what they look/work like. Password is hulababy.

You simply download your photos from your camera onto your computer, and then choose which ones you want on the online site - and upload just those ones.

Right i've registered and now have an account, but haven't a clue how to get the phtos from my computer to there.

How do you upload something ????

I have it in front of me now so here goes:

In middle of screen it should say Add Picture, with a white box, and then an Browse button?

Hulababy · 02/06/2004 17:22

Click on browse

Then search through the files on your computer (listed in directories in a window now on screen) until you find the file you want

Click on file you want and then click on open

Then that filename appears in white box

Now click on submit

Photo will upload and appear at bottom of screen

Hulababy · 02/06/2004 17:25

To seperate photos into albums, just click Add new Album, give it a name and it appears in a list below. You can then click on that album name and add photos within their too.

And you can upload more than one photo at a time, under where it says Add Picture, there is a white drop down box that says Sunbit multiple pictures. If you click on little arrow next to it, you can choose how many you want to do at once.

Hope all this makes sense!
