Cost of demolition and site clearance?

I'm thinking of buying a plot of land that has a tyre garage on it (converted chapel), with the idea of putting a house on it. Just wondering if anyone knew (roughly obviously) how much it costs to get someone to demolish a building and take the rubble away.

Thanks!

I'd like to use the old chapel stone in the building of the new house, so that could all stay. I've no idea how big it is in figures, but it's not as big as a church and only one floor.

I was just looking for a ballpark figure, I am quite clueless, for all I know it could cost £2,000 or £20,000.

It's to do with the number of skips needed & the type of waste

Recycling is great - but as aviatrix says it can cost
