We have boxes and boxes of these little slides which you use a viewer thingy held up to your eyes to see....a bit like negatives to look at only in colour. The viewer magnifies them.

Anyone know how we get them converted to prints? HAve asked in several shops and no one has ever seen them before!

ANyone??

TIA

Are they just ordinary 35mm slides, ie., the sort you could use a projector to view?
Canon scanner

They have several like that at Argos, but your best bet would be to go somewhere where you could get proper advice: Jessops, PC World, somewhere like that.

Could be talking rubbish here but our scanner software had something on it that you could change the image to colour black and white etc, so im thinking if you scannered your slides, got them up on the pc, enlarged them you could then print them off? Not sure if thats any use.

cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4200&item=3817926678&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW heres someone selling films for them on ebay, so someone somewhere must know something!

they are not slides as such.....

our scanner seems to have something where you can scan negatives but tried to use it once and failed....

will do a little more searching!
thanks for help so far!

What shops have you tried? I would have thought a camera shop such as Jessops or a small independent one would be your best bet.

Boots used to offer a "print from slide" service but I think that was ordinary 35mm slides.

Are you sure they're not ordinary slides? They look/sound like it to me. The viewer sounds like a small/portable alternative to the slide projector.

Popsy,

Found this by putting "Kodachrome transparencies convert prints" into google. A lot of the stuff on google is very complicated but I think the gist of it is that you can get the transparencies made into prints but it is expensive and results (particularly from Kodachrome) are not always brilliant. I think you might be stuck with viewing them through the little gadget (we used to have one of those!)

thanks everyone who tried!!!

just occurred to me - am going to go on the kodak website this evening and email someone!

Thanks - will let you all know!
