The city (and the county actually) have loads and loads of family-friendly activities going on all the time. Anybody who might be vaguely thinking of moving somewhere midlands-ish should consider Leicester

I live in Leicester and have spent many a happy afternoon with my children when they were younger at all of Leicesters museums
