This is one of the half-term events there:

Sat 17 Feb
WELCOME!
Belgrave Hall Museum, Leicester
Take part in a fun filled day for all the family and learn about Leicester's new communities, play traditional games, be thrilled by world music, take part in art activities and make new friends. Supported by the Refugee & Asylum Seeker Project. 11am-3pm. Tel: 0116 266 6590

The city (and the county actually) have loads and loads of family-friendly activities going on all the time. Anybody who might be vaguely thinking of moving somewhere midlands-ish should consider Leicester
