dh is still having problems withh is employers due to his on-going illness. he works for asda stores. anyway last week me and mieow did our shopping in there. she bought 2 loaves of bread and when she got home, put them away. when she went to have some toast she noticed the bread was moldy. the bread was 4days out of date. we took it back, and whilst we were there noticed that they had reduced pre-packed bread which had no dates on the yellow tags. so i have phoned trading standards and his work are gonna be in trouble. oooooooo i feel so evil.

so they should be, what happens if it was an older person or someone partially sighted they could have got quite ill (Tesco's do it too!)

misdee · 27/05/2004 21:40

the customer service there was bad as well.

oh dearie me. went there again yesterday with mieow to do the shopping. she checked the dates on the bread because of what happened the last time. and found a load of bread 2 days past its display date. seems like another call to trading standards is due.

Tesco do this too-I got my order last week with stock cubes that expired in Feb 04.

Had problems with ASDA selling past it cheese too.

Well done Misdee,as Baldrick says, someone could get really ill from eating mouldy stuff.some
