Hacked off: Had day of treatments booked today and they've just called to cancel........

The therapist has been sent home ill....

It was a birthday present from dh back in August, this is the earliest I've been able to book in and you will not know hom much I've been looking forward to it.

Was so pissed off I asked for a refund but they don't refund vouchers. It will be at least 2 months before I can book again.

Rant over.

Oh what a bummer - I would be disappointed too.

Went to see my hairdresser on Saturday, and she was shivering and snotty w/cold.

Told me she could hardly stand up.

I cancelled.

I don't want that shit, and I think it's crap to pass that on to your customers.

whereabouts are you northerner (up north maybe??!!!) I am a therapist what treatments where you due to have?

Luckily I have never had to cancel (touch wood) but to be honest if she was ill it was for the best - but I know that is no consolation for you. See if they will throw in a freebie for the inconvenience and disappointment - worth a try.

I'm in Harrogate and it was half a day of pampering - full body massage, flotation tank and exfoliating body scrub thing. It's been booked for over 2 months.

I told them how disappointed I was and explained I have taken a day off work for this, all they did was apologise. Nothing else offerred, should I push for more?

That is so annoying, and they usually give you next to no notice which really winds me up as you have to give them 24hours.

That is so true, if you had cancelled on the day, you would have had to pay it all in full.

I would definitely push for some compensation, even if its a nice smelly product, to keep you sweet and looking forward to your next visit. You had to book a day off work etc.
