All of the gas/electricity companies have started doing this.

British Gas told my Grandma that she would have to pay and extra £40 a month to cover the gas bill even though she was in credit on her accout

I personally thin they are doing this now so when they drop the prices later this year (as they have promised to do)people will think its a huge drop when actually it may just take you back to what you were paying in the first place. IYKWIM

though id u used 13 units of electric per day at 20p per unit (i think my elctric is roughly 20p per unit X 90 days (3 months) that would make that much

i personaly have a 3 bed house.... empty most of the time but have gas hearing and water, and i use abour 4 units per day

any idea how many units you use per day?

Ntw my 1st X amount of units per quater are about 20p... (i THINK) and the rest go down to about 12p (again i THINK!) no bills to hand!
