Need some help, does anyone travel between Milton Keynes & London?

I stupidly won something from someone on Ebay that doesn't accept Paypal and lives in Milton Keynes. I am a little concerned that they don't have any feedback too, but that will teach me for not checking first.

Its a karaoke machine and is a birthday present for DD. I am running out of time to get it though. If I send a cheque (which is the only payment accepted) then by the time it clears and is sent, her birthday will have been and gone. I live in Hackney, Easy London. Although I do drive, I am not a confident driver. I did contact the seller to see if I can pay by paypal but they said they don't have an account.

I am desperately hoping that a lovely MNer travels between those 2 places or has a suggestion on how I might be able to get the item.
I will post this on the meet ups thread in hope someone can come to my rescue.

not sure if this is an option or if you wold trust me to do it. however i am going to milton keynes shopping this weekend. ( live bout 30 mins away) i have a paypal account. please feel free to put the money into mine and i will drop cash round to theirs. that way they can post to you straight away.
however i will not be offended if you dont want to accept this as you will have to trust i wont run off with your money!!!
i have meet a caouple of people at meet ups and have brought an item of of one in person aswell. please let me know if you want me to help.

That is really kind og you to offer. If you would be willing to do that, I would be happy to transfer the money. I am a little bit weary of you giving the seller the money and then leaving them to post it. They could quite easily deny all knowledge of receiving the money as there would be no trace to them. I am such a worry guts!
I don't know, but I wonder if you would be able to collect it and post it to me? Of course I would cover the full cost of postage. If thats not possible its fine, I have no idea how big or heavy the item is.

If you can email me k_dunne2000[at]yahoo.co.uk so I can let you know where it actually is. You can check if you can get to the address as I have no idea where it is in relation to where you are going shopping. I do know its 55.2 miles from me though!

I'm half way in between if I can help, pass the parcel!

Whichever one of you that could post it to me would be best for me really, I really don't want the cash handed over to the seller and him to still be left with the parcel, just to be on the safe side.
