fashionistas: are cream/white boots always a no no?

totally frivolous questions but there are some lovely boots in New Look for £15! suede and cream coloured. should i be buying them?

if they are wedgie nice ones that i see lots of people wearing with skirts and jeans then yes, if they are stiletto white slapper boots then no
