I've been up for over an hour and still haven't taken of ds bedtime nappy...we started potty training yesterday so if it wasn't for MN I'd be washing pants and mopping floors and trying to get him to sit on the potty!

Well, it's a good job that this thread prompted me to get up as DD has just woken up within 2 mins of me sitting back down post shower !

WORKING. Starting the third draft of a script that I supposedly love, but just can't get going on. Have convinced myself there is something wrong with the characters (there isn't). Am getting SO fed up with myself for not diving into it. aaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhh.

Reading scholarship applications from Chinese students. it's actually a good laugh but I've done 150 of the things this am so I'm taking a break!

Should be making two lunchboxes and then have to tackle a playmobil castle in several thousand pieces on the floor before hoovering. It could take all day (I have to assemble it to take a picture to sell it on ebay). Then get to the ironing pile befor it hits the ceiling, then make something reasonably nutritious for tea that both kids might consider eating (fat chance.)
I wonder if any of this will get done.

gloworm · 25/05/2004 14:50

lots of you seem to do like me and come onto MN as soon as the kids go for a nap! (and isn't our sanity more important than housework )

I'd be working on a forecast vs actuals spreadsheet (riveting, not) but I'm here instead. Great thread, look at how much isn't getting done!

Arrived back in London yesterday after 18 months away. My dear neighbor forwarded urgent mail, but I've got a stack of "non-urgent" papers as high as my knees sitting in the entry hall.

Also, should be unpacking our cases, but who can be bothered really when there's jetlag to consider? Will let everything sit until tonight when I MUST dive into it all. Otherwise, I'll have an obscene amount of ironing to do..........

Ixel · 25/05/2004 21:55

Should be.... serilizing bottles, washing up lunch and tea things, removing dry clothes from radiator, sewing up holes in dh's boxer shorts, doing my diary( not done for 4 days), collating figures ready for the arrival of this years tax credit form, brushing the stain remover stuff off ds's stroller, looking up a flower website as requested by my mother, making enough space amidst the toys for dh to sit down when he gets in from work, getting off here so he doesn't realise I've been running up the phone bill again.

helenmc · 26/05/2004 18:29
