Duller than dull survey for those of you with British Gas Homecare 300 agreement

I would like to rant at British Gas for many reasons but I would like some facts first!!

I have Homecare 200, pay £17.24 per month, 4 bedrooms 2 reception rooms (3 radiators in sitting room, boiler is a Potterton something-or-other, 12 years old.
I have to say I'm pretty happy with them - we get an annual service & we've had a new pump, a new 'synchron motor' (whatever that is) a fortnight ago a new fan - the heating failed on the Sunday before Christmas & they had someone there by 2pm.

I am trying to gather facts because BG have put up the cost of my Homecare 300 from £17 a month to £25 after the first year because "of the number of bedrooms I have (3) and the make of my boiler (Worcester Pile of Shit).

(You know when you get a bee in yer bonnet over something, I would love to tell them to poke it but I can't because the boiler keeps breaking down)!
