any idea what it's like to live near Greenwich station?

Considering renting in a fairly new build block of flats near Greenwich station. We'd be closer to London so ideal for work but I'm just curious if anyone knows what it is like to actually live in that area? Is crime high? Etc. Just anything worth mentioning? Good or bad? Before I take the plunge!
