and it wasnt because I was drunk as I only had of glass of champagne.

Weve set up a temporary pc with one of our flat screen tv's as monitor. I think it may have brought on a nasty , vomity , migraine attack ,as Ive been using it tonight and the same headache is coming back right now?????? Yesterday was the 1st time I used it too.

Im going to sign off for now as its hurting my eyes BIG time & Im getting that shaky sicky feeling, but wondered if any one has them triggered by a screen?

I sometimes get blurred vision and bad headaches/feeling sick from excessive use of a VDU - but I work in IT so it is a pitfall of the job. Find it worse if there is glare. Sometimes get the same sort of thing from driving when it is sunny, especially if I am not well hydrated and wearing sunglasses. Shame it had to happen for you last night though.

Yes I've had that sort of problem in the past, I found it was particularly bad if the screen was too bright, it helped if I set the background colour to blue or grey rather than white.

Typical isnt it , I very rarely get them and New years Eve midnight is when the universe decides ahaahahaha this is how youll see things come in!! My dad said see it as puking the bad of the year away !!!

Ive turned the brightness and contrast down , lets see if that helps. Or ill just have to turn away more often !!!

PC monitors and TVs use different methods to create an image, they also refresh at very different rates. TVs refresh slower, i think, so you're brain thinks the screen is flickering.

Pass the bucket.

Its really awful , I get a sore head as soon as I look at the screen.
