Swap ya! You can have DT2 who was the first up at silly o'clock this morning and proceeded to bash me with Charlie and Lola books until I read one and told him to go find a biscuit (whereupon I promptly hid under my pillow)!

colditz · 30/12/2006 12:15

snigger, yers, mine used to do things like that.

He was up at 6:30 this morning.

Aimsmum your dd sounds like my dd1 shes like that, even dd2 (who doesn't need a lot of sleep) is staying in bed until 9-10am (though shes not 100% either)

I believe in free posting and am completely anti-censorship but I shall be emailing MNHQ to delete this thread on the grounds of 'Severe cruelty of the OP'

From the mother of a 2.1 yr old who went to sleep at 9pm last night and was up at 4.30am this morning - He is now being read to by dh now at 5pm and while beginning to look a little tired - (he has had no nap at all today either) - he's been surprisingly lively and happy all day [groan emoticon]

TheArmadillo · 31/12/2006 17:14

wow and we was pleased that ds didn't get up til 8am today

LazycowLyinginaManger · 31/12/2006 17:44

Ah 8am - yes in the two years since ds was born he has slept as late as 8am exactly twice - I remember both occasions . On one other memorable morning he slept until 8.45am - both dh and I thought we had died and gone to heaven (or much more worryingly for one second we though that ds had)

Still at least the last 6 months have been between 6am and 7am morning starts. The first 20 months were 5am or earlier and we dreamt of lying in until 6am.

The sad fact is that before ds I was the one who friends would call and would say 'what did I wake you - at 10am or later?

Now I'm the one who is calling them from the park at 9am having waited for at least an hour to phone at a respectable time
