Probably a daft question, but I've never been in town at this time of year, I've always avaoided it like the plague, but I desperately need to shop for a posh outfit, not particularly looking for sale stuff. What do you think? Am I mad? Will it be much busier that a usual saturday, do you think?

yes I think it will be jam packed, but if you go straight to the full price racks they should be reasonably quiet, but likely to be horrid queues to pay!

YES YES YES

I stopped going a few years ago as I wouldn't stand in the queues, was horrendous

It was like queing for the roller coaster ride at Alton Towers!!!!

Oh dear! Well, thanks for the warning

Unfortunately there's no avoiding it, I do really need to go. I'll set my alarm and go as early as possible, before the shops open, so I can hopefully park easily and before it gets too busy. What time do shops generally open in the mornings on a weekday? Is it different during the Christmas holidays?

Oh crikey, I'm really dreading it!

I reckon it will be usual time, seeing as tomorrow isn't abank holiday.
