Totally flummoxed by new MN system - can anyone help me find that thread on internet Christmas food shopping?

My first time today, after reading in the paper it'll be handbags at dawn on Sunday because of the trading laws.

I've two questions I'd like to find out the answers to - why is my 'paid' bit loosely referred to as 'pending', when I've already given them my cc details, and what happens if, like me, you've ordered two organic chickens for your Christmas lunch, who are probably celebrating their Christmas with Pop Party 4 at their lack of appreciation at this time of year.

It's pending because you only pay when your order goes through the checkout - some stuff may be unavailable/substituted for other things or offers are deducted at the "till".

I have no idea what your last point means though

no i didn't understand that either.

I am skipping internet shopping this year, it very rarelya rrives in its entirety and I just have to pop out anyway, I suspect many people will be disappointed by a sudden lack of essentials on their list

It's just that organic chickens are hard to come by at this time of year - it seems it's curtains for turkeys and geese, but not these birds!

Disappointing that it rarely arrives in its entirety .....
