Mother & Toddler group in Croydon needs Mothers and Toddlers!

If anyone wants to go to a small and friendly M&T group in Croydon (Shirley/Addiscombe) let me know!

Term time Wednesdays from 1:30 - 3pm.

Tea, coffee, juice and homemade biscuits as well as a craft activity and toys.

Soupy, are you anti-NCT in general or just some of the Croydon individuals IYSWIM. No involvement myself, but was thinking of bringing someone who has just moved to Shirley. She's the sort of person who would embrace a lot of the NCT-stuff (wants natural birth with twins, will b/f for ages etc) but isn't a committee-type person at all, and I doubt would even find time to join (though she is looking for a friendly twins club). Can't see that a M&T group would try to force the poor woman into an elective c/s followed by bottle-feeding, but there are some strange people on the internet...

Croydon has quite an active Twins Club I believe. I guess the contact number is on the TAMBA website.

The only connection the M&T group has with the NCT is that my friend and I who run it at the moment met through NCT postnatal support 5 years ago. We're strictly a coffee, cookies and chit chat group! No parenting/birth lectures whatsoever. Unless you ask, of course, in which case we'll swap gory details until the cows come home
