Lovely hotel near Portsmouth??

My parents re coming to me xmas day and staying overnight and then taking ds back to the isle of wight with them boxing day for 2 nights.I would like to find a hotel for 1 romantic night plus food for dp and I on teh wednesday so that we can pick him up in portsmouth thursday to save my dad having to bring him back.I don't know the area at all so any help welcome xx

roughly where are you coming from and is it OK to be say 30 mins from portsmouth. If coming from London direction I may have some suggestions. If coming from Cornwall - sorry can't help

I am only in Brighton so not far.30 mins is ok Anywhere closeish to there but the closer the better

36 on the quay - Emsworth

I cannot find a link to the hotel but did find a glowing review on dooyou

I think it is more of a restaurant (That I so want to go to) with accommodation than a hotel

noddy the winchester H du V was teh first and is much nicer than the others, proper antiques etc not just lombok stuff everywhere

the hotel du vin is fully booked but the florence one is ringing me back Like the look of The Quay aswell so will decide and book today Can't wait!
