Can anyone help me please with formatting photos from my digital camera to print on computer?

I can't find a way to adjust the brightness, my photos are coming out really dark.

Can anyone help please? TIA

Thank you drac, I thought that looked perfect, I tried to download, it told me my acrobat would need to be updated, so I updated that. Then I tried again to download it and it directed me to a shop in the USA where I could pay for the software.

Did I do something wrong?

Scroll down the page and find the download link - don't use the one on the right hand side of the page at the top as that takes you to the shop.
