2snowshoes · 12/12/2006 15:35

sorry don't know your story but glad to hear that.

DecktheWallacewithBoughsofHoll · 12/12/2006 15:39

Hooray

How is she doing? Will she need any further surgery?

catj · 12/12/2006 15:51

Everyone is astounded at how well she has done. (We were given the ultimate bad news in July & she decided differently).
She now has overnight feed via a gastrostomy but does eat & drink fairly well in the day too.
There's no more cardiac surgery planned-it depends on whether her arteries grow sufficiently.

CAtj that is fabulous news
I do remember when she was first rushed to Southampton, as that's where my dd was rushed to as a 6 wk old.
My dd was seen by Tony Salmon - wondering if it was the same cardiologist?
Glad your dd is making such good progress - if you don't mind explaining, is she likely to make some progress on the gastro front as she grows?

How lovely to have her back for Christmas.

FrostyTheSnowMarsLady · 12/12/2006 20:55

Congratulations

Good news CatJ

catj · 14/12/2006 14:17

Piffmas-she is seen by Kevin Roman at Southampton. She eats & drinks normally during the day-just not in large enough quantities at the moment so the majority of her calories are overnight. Hopefully this wiil improve now she's home and able to watch her sisters!
