I have too many to count but this one stands out. Decided to dye my hair as the gray roots were popping through. I put on the chemical formula, waited 30 minutes, combed it out and thought, great looks good. My kit came with the conditioner to use after colouring. The next morning I got up and was showering and dumped the new conditioner onto my head. It dripped onto my face and my scalp and face started to burn. Oh, god, I had coloured my hair with the conditioner, then tried to condition my hair with the hair colour forumla.

oopse!!
I keep leaving the hob's turned on I spend lots of time double checking myself these days, as really don't want to burn the house down.

Well this week I took dd to gymnastics 45 mins late so she got 15mins, and dancing I went an hour early. I just got totally mixed up with the times, has been going at the same times since August.

I went shopping, got a full trolleys worth of stuff, loaded 3 dd in car, and drove home. With no shopping, all still left in carpark . Phoned Tesco in a panic when I got home and looked in my empty boot - they'd looked after it for me, and said to each other "a hassled mother did this" whoops!

I drove to nursery one afternoon to collect my ds, only to be told he wasn't at nursery that day - he was at home with me sick!!!!!!

I had forgotten that he was asleep in bed and just grabbed my car keys in auto pilot to go fetch him.

Luckily when I got back (have never driven so fast in my life) he was still sound asleep and non the wiser.

I was so upset however that my dh had to come home from work early to help me calm down.

I have lots of days like this!

Went on holiday without shutting the front door. Fortunately remembered a couple of hours later at the airport and asked ILs to go round to shut it!

I tried to drive off the other day while dh was still getting into the car I don't know why I did it, luckily I was going really slowly and when he said wait until I get in I did stop but I don't know what made me start driving while he was still getting in.

VeronicaMars · 10/12/2006 23:42

I used to burn my bump with the iron all the time and I was always saying 'if I walk up this f**king stairs once more and forget what I came up for, I'll scream'
My memory never improved after dd was born and I did nearly brush my teeth with Immac one morning.

HaggisSupper · 11/12/2006 11:12

I spilt coffee on my cream cardigan whilst pregnant with dd. I immediatey put it in a basin of cold water to try and get rid of the stain. It was only when I went to take it out of the basin about an hour later that I remembered my mobile and a £20 note were in the pocket....my phone never worked again!!!

I crashed my car about a week after that as well. I was a danger to myself

I have bathed DS1 severla time not realising he's still got his socks/nappy on!

I have been to playschool 2 times this week forgetting DS1's nappies and then promptly left DS2's changing bag at the playschool.

My memory has turned to mush!

We need to put these in a book! So glad to read I am not the only one who seemed to have expelled a large section of my brain with along with a baby. Hilarious reading. It isn't always funny at the time, but nice we can laugh.

Bought a new tax disc and forgot to put it up - filed it away with the MOT cert, etc. A policeman spotted it was out of date a few months later - parked outside ds's nursery - got lots of questions from the busybody mums as to why he was standing by my car making notes - luckily he let me off!
