DD has got into films like Gremlins, the Goonies, Ghostbusters, Labyrinth, the Dark Crystal - all the ones I remember watching as a kid.

fortyplus · 10/12/2006 10:58

fortyplus · 10/12/2006 11:10

SmileysPeople - I used to have terrible nightmares about cybermen and the Penguin from Batman & Robin. Was ok with Bananasplits but must've been older by then.

me23bottlesofsherry · 10/12/2006 11:14

I cna't wait till dd is a bit older and I will be buying her dvds of my fave programmes as a kid, Button Moon , superted, raggydolls etc... They're are loads more I cant think of right now.

TheChristmasArmadillo · 10/12/2006 11:36

yep he has some 'children's favourites' complilations and some things like Rosie and Jim and superted.

MadamePlatypus · 10/12/2006 12:04

No, but we have occassionally caught a bit of Rainbow on Nickleodeon. DS seems to like it, but that may also be a bed time delaying tactic (its on at 8pm). My favourite things are when Rod, Jane and Freddy all get into bed together, and watching the little films of 70's children and remembering the fashions.

Stockingsofdinosaurs · 10/12/2006 13:25

We have Bod and the kids love it. Unfortunately it doesn't have the milkshake-drinking frog conductor as according to the net they were actuallymade by separate companies with different rights. So they just don't understand why I always say "straaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwb'ri milkshake."
