Congratulations!!

Start looking at wedding fares as early as possible.

We got married in an hotel and it had meals in different price ranges, and evening buffets. It also included the disco, and floral arrangements.

We also got rooms at a discounted rates for us and guests.

We also had over a 18months to plan ours, we booked and paid for things as they came up.

Write a list of what you want, don't get carried away with all the bits and pieces that all add extra cost but you wouldn't notice if they were not there.

Thanx girls, my Hubby to be is vegetarian so need to think about that and neither of us like chocolate, we want to get married in our local church and we both know the vicar well. and thinking about local hotel on the waterside very nice, but do you think they will change their menus to suit veggie as well as meat eater, we don't want many at the ceremony just close family and friends, will have my DD as flower girl sister as maid of honour and DP cousin as other bridesmaid, we don't want ushers, page boys or ringbearers. so hopefully that will save us a bit!

I would say they probaly will, as we wanted a roast beef dinner, which was not on their list but they were quite happy to do this for us.

Our menu was

Prawn cocktail - from their menu
Roast beef - our choice
Pear and apple crumble - from their menu
