I read Saga which is an Image title, also Bitch Planet. I can't afford to buy many regularly, but those two are my permanents. I've read a few Marvel trades (civil war, house of M, seige) in the past, and decided to get into Marvel via Secret Wars, for which I've been buying the main Secret Wars title and the A-Force tie-in, and now the Marvel relaunch has begun I've picked up a few new titles to see if I fancy them. I'm not up to date with Rat Queens, Revival or Wicked&Divine (also from image) but I've read them in the past when the trades came out.

mak I'm more of a DC (hellblazer, justice league dark, suicide squad) type than Marvel. Though I do own Ms Marvel, the new one by G Willow Wilson. She's South Asian and petite and nerdy like me so I couldn't resist it.

Did you lot know that there's a minion comic by titan? My despicable me mad toddler would love that in his stocking this year.

I have the first volume of Hellblazer, but I've yet to actually get through it to my shame. If I want to get started with dc and I like the suicide squad trailer and the animated assault on arkham, where would I start?

I found the new 52 run a good starting point. With suicide squad I started with kicked in the teeth. And Constantine is a bit more in keeping with that continuity and a slightly easier read than dangerous habits or original sins. Justice league dark (New 52) is a good intro to Constantine, Zatanna and that gang too.

The year ones are quite good to read alone and I love the killing joke and court of owls.

Well, we're through the tutorial mission for Syndicate and so far I think the graphics are incredible ... I kind of miss the Caribbean and the music of the other game though!
