The year I was born the charts hadn't started yet!

Have just been looking at the 1980s - it's very weird - I hardly know any of them! We were in America from 80-83 and after that had no telly until 87 and only really listened to R4, it wasn't until dd1 was old enough to start taking an interest herself that I tuned into pop music again. A whole musical decade missing from my life...mind you it was probably a good one to miss.
