Where can I download music legally in MP3 format....

and not WMA, or MP4 (audio), as my phone only supports MP3 files and I want some music on it!

So, not napster, or e-tunes, or i-tunes.

Ideally a site where you can choose the format of the file.

Most sites have so little info up front, you have to register before you can see what they do.

Aha. Socci I think you might have something there. My phone is a Sony and doesn;t support WMA files.

Sonic Stage is Sony's own product..so I'm off to see whetehr I can get anything through Sonic Stage / music store connect. Not sure, as it is US based.

Virgin only do WMA files from the look of it.
