Northerner is visiting the big city, help with trains please.......

I'm going to London tommorrow. Getting train to Kings Cross and then I need to get to Olympia 2 on Hammersmith Road. Do I use train, tube or bus? And how long will it take me?

Any help greatly appreciated.

piccadilly line from kings cross, change at earl's court, baron's court or south ken onto the green district bit that goes to olympia. i think...

definitely take the tube otherwise you'll be in traffic half the day in a bus...picadilly (blue) to earls court (which is southbound direction) then change platforms and wait for one (district line - green, direction westbound) to Kensington Olympia. Shouldn't take long but sometimes a bit of a wait for an Olympia train at Earls Court. I would give it 20 - 30mins but if all goes well, may take less.

I think from memory there is a journey planner on there which is quite good. It has maps of the start and end points so you can see where you come out etc....

if you have a buggy, remember there are many steps at earls court station. also look for the arrow at the top pf the sign to tell you which train is the one you need, sounds weird I know but you will see what I mean when you get there!!
