Is it just us that are being plagued with rats at the moment?

We've had the council round to bait them, found a dead one, but the other day one nearly ran over my feet!

Thank goodness they're outside, (at the mo) but it still makes me think twice about going into our garden.

glad i'm not the only one! we had one in the house last week

but it has since been evicted. (i really really love my dog right now!!!!)
are you seeing them during the day?

Shudders too! How did you get it out? I've heard stories from the Council man about them swimming in the toilet bowl!

well i think i caught it as it was coming in. so we knew where it's entrance was. we blocked up all the holes and got the council round to put poison under the house. so far there have been no bad smells...but we're still waiting!
we also bought those plug in things that are supposed to emit a frequency that rodents don't like. (at the point that we bought it i would have paid for some magic beans if i thought they'd keep the little buggers away!)
and having the dog do regular patrols helps as well. he went nuts the night we saw it and hasn't been like that since so i'm thinking it's away! (hopefully...)
