I ordered a DVD which has taken almost 3 months to arrive. It cost just over £12 and so I tried contacting the seller several times but he sent a curt message back saying he'd sent it and then ignored all further contact. So, opened a dispute and then a week later the DVD turns up via Amazon (???) with no contact or explanation from the seller.

Just got an email to say that PayPal resolution centre has decided in my favour and refunded me my money. This all in the space of 2 days. What do I do? Do I tell PayPal I got the item in the end? Or, do I stay quiet and consider the money compensation for the hassle and minute loss of 'interest' on the money in my account?

I would admit you got the item in the end. The seller sounds slightly crap, but ripping him off still isn't fair ...

To keep it would be dishonest. I would keep it though and consider it compensation for my distress
