Just wondering how many other Aussies are regular Mumsnetters... I know Mollipops is one , but are there any others out there? I live in Queensland and I was just thinking the other day that it's a shame we can't take part in any of the 'meet ups'. Anyway I just thought it would be interesting to find out. Don't suppose you're a fellow Queenslander Mollipops..?

Next you'll be telling me you don't have chocolate crackles either!!!

I checked out the Milo (sorry if I'm stepping on your toes here bloss), and it is 50% sugar and 10% fat! Having said that, it does have added Vitamins A, C and B, plus iron...one serve gives about a third to half daily requirements of each apparently, but I'm not sure if that is of a child or an adult. Anyway, anything that gets kids to drink more milk can't be all bad, can it? But then who needs milk - my brother and I used to eat it by the spoonful, straight out of the tin! (We never did think of having it in a sandwich, mind you! But it is lovely sprinkled on icecream!)

Which reminds me, I know one thing you kiwis will be missing - Hokey Pokey icecream!!! YUMM!

What's fairy bread?

My husband will love to read these messages (will it win him over to mumsnet - we shall see !!) He, too, thrived on Milo sandwiches.

Thanks for the research mollipops and others.

Slug, my dh got the Milo somewhere in deepest Plumstead - many grocers in the high street stock it.

Oh, SueW, you disappoint me! I'd been wondering what Fairy Bread was and had concluded it was a sandwich made with some sort of interesting fungi that caused one to be 'away with the fairies'!!
