English girl looking for au pair job in France?

Can anyone help? A family I know are looking for an au pair for a few weeks in the holidays and then for a year as of next September, here in Bordeaux. They have one little girl aged 4.

Does anyone know anyone who wants to come to France and learn French (perhaps as their gap year)?

I think I should start an agency!

Sorry that I can't help but I agree with you setting up an agency! I wanted to join in a year or two ago when I think (my memory is not too good) there was a thread about children from France and the UK doing an exchange. Ds was a little bit young then but he's 13 now so I'll look out for any threads like that in future.
