DH who does drop offs and pick ups for dd's at nursery
'got to dress up for children in need tomorrow'
(Me) 'Oh, OK, what's the theme?'
(Dh) 'um..'
Its too late to phone nursery and find out.
(dd1, after questioning) 'S says we've got to dress up as fairies but also as bears and also as tigers and we've got to wear a woolly hat and a necklace' Hmm
(Dh, eventually) 'I think they've got to dress up but have some sort of pudsey bear thing on too'
dd1 determined on fairy costume so I decide to do them in fairy costumes but dress up their teddy bears as pudsey for them to carry. Tell Dh this plan SEVERAL times.
In the morning, when they are all dressed up and getting in the car, after I spent last night getting everything ready, painting spots onto hakerchiefs for teddy bears and searching the house for long lost fairy wings, DH 'but everyone else is going to be dressed up as Pudsey bear'.
(me) unrepeatable.
So, both girls looking cute and very pleased with themselves but everyone else at nursery wearing yellow and brown with fluffy ears.
