Need to buy NTSC video, have only got PAL video, is there a way round this?

Three NSTC videos I am desperate to buy and watch

They are not avalible on PAL, only NTSC (ie american, not UK format)

They are not avalible on DVD (seriously not-we are talking stuff produced in 1980s here)

thoughts? please?

Would it be massively expensive/illegal to get conversion done?

Try getting in touch with Maplin Electronics - I think they could help. If they don't have it, I am not certain who would.

alot of the new vcr's play ntsc tapes as well. argos have one for around £45 which plays both regions. we have had tapes transfered in the past and paid heaps. not worth it nowadays with the new machines being so cheap.
