a while ago said I'd have a go at being the secretary of a club where I live (it's a social events thing)...tbh, it's not my cup of tea and writing minutes is sooo boring..work 5 days a week and frankly can't be bothered...am only asking as feel a little guilty as everyone should do there bit for there community...any thoughts

Just tell them your circumstances have changed, and you unable to help them out.

Is there anyone you know who would like to take over from you? You could then lighten the news by offering a replacement.
