The cats have been delivered to Cat Camp. They are NOT happy. Gemma immediately disappeared into one of the igloos and refused to come out. (She has however eaten 2 saucers of wet food.) Tinkerbelle refused to look at me and just sat there with a face like thunder. Maisie isn't sure what's going on and was just sitting by the door waiting to make her escape.

Sigh...

On the upside, ALL the litter trays here have been emptied and cleaned. When I'm able to refill them I'll be ready to have the cats come home.

Still quite a few things to do but I took myself off to Wetherspoons for a rack of ribs. I'm pleased to report that there was not a single crumb of edible food left on my plate. I do like ribs.

Another fan of Wetherpoons ribs, ex didn't allow pork in the house so I'd have that whenever I met up with a friend alone. There's bacon in my fridge now, makes me snigger if I think how outraged he would be

Talking of meet ups, I'm toying with the idea of coming on Saturday. Am uncharacteristically nervous at the thought, largely because I don't drink so can't anaesthetise myself until my shrinking violet moment passes. I've realised I'm still a bit reserved despite my job! I'll see...

Dimwit Zombie (that would be me) isn't as smart as her phart smone. The SIM card I was going to swap into the new phone doesn't fit. I need a MICRO SIM card and won't be able to get one before hospital admission. So it looks like I'll be texting updates to PEOPLE to be reposted on here.

Local hospice does NOT offer recuperative care beds. My hospice nurse was out of the office today but is ringing me first thing in the morning to let me know of anywhere that does. Maybe I'll have to just come home after all. (Wishful thinking.)

I forgot to ring the GP Surgery to make sure my meds will be available to collect tomorrow. Must do that as soon as the surgery opens tomorrow.

I have sorted a lift to the train station tomorrow so that's one good thing.

Now the burning question is: Do I even bother trying to sleep tonight or do I brazen it out until I'm tucked up in my hospital bed tomorrow night?

Just read my weekly fix Ikl and again enjoyed it. I didn't see the show but you explained what happened very well so I feel up to date with it all.

Oh Lin you have no idea. MIL & FIL still snipe & have sly nasty digs at each other. They've been divorced THIRTY FECKING YEARS. BIL2 & his son were putting three hot dog sausages onto each bun & had 4 each. BIL3 lay flat on the couch taking up 2-3 seats (we hardly had any to begin with) texting & on Facebook - he's nearly 30. FIL wife spent all the evening telling everyone about her various ailments & who's died. Niece who is five was jumping on the sofa, pulling stuff off sides, pinching DS - her dad is BIL3, didn't tell her off......

I've been postponed for 48 hours. Two liver transplants came up over the past 24 hours so no bed for me. I'll now go in on Thursday and am the only one on the list for Friday.

Time to get some more things done.

Oh no Zombie. Glad it's only 48 hours but how disappointing when you had probably psyched yourself up for it. So do you have enough supplies for the next couple of days ?
