i hope starq has been banned from mn

just read all the messages and was really shocked and angry at her racist remarks, just went to post on the so called thread and it has now been reomved.

me, to, I emailed MNHQ this am and asked for the thread to go, along with Starq. there was just no need for the comments which were made, and I was offended just reading, I feel for kitty and cat.

I read it too this morning and the one thing I don't understand is why everyone else kept posting. In those cases surely it is best to just ignore the poster and eventually the thread will drop off active convos and the poster will go away. Or am I being naive?

thing is thou buda - kitty wasn't even posting (I didn't actually gather where anyone had been specifically nasty enought to S to warrent such vile comments but anyhow) kitty didn't post but S was attacking her anyways, then wondering why MNetters were defending Kitty, and being just down right nasty. there's no other excure for it, it did seem funny thou that there was 3 newbie on there, all of similar grammar etc, all saying the same thing/defending S. also funny how both S and her 'db' have the same style. I don't know S, by all accounts she's normally a nice lady, but from last night's carryings on, I do feel she should be banned - everyone can have their opinion, freedom of speech etc, but really that took the cake never mind the buscuit.

sorry hon might not have been kitty, (thought it was the lady who was coming in for the worst attackes, then catw I think it was said to pick on her - the lady who had the cancer) said lady wasn't postying for a bit and S just continuted to attack her v

yes sorry kellykins, was v v nasty. each to his own, as I say freedom of speech/own opinions etc but no need for nastyness.

i posted a couple of times. it seemed like poeple were trying to diffuse and show general distaste for it all. although i def would have been better to ignore it all and in the future i will do so. actually, i thought it had to be a wind up is was so vitriolic

yes lockets completely agree, I was both disgusted, shocked and appalled by her comments, but what's more worrying/alarming is she has those thougths (or brother did) - where has he learnt those thoughts iycwim?? I know it's easy to get some misconceptions of people etc but not to that extream (least I don't feel, althou I guess the same is true in reverse iycwim)

not impossible that she's now earning 50k i grant you, but not likely imo...

Seemed like something of an overreaction to being challenged as regards bidding on her own auction. Only saw the aftermath this morning. The racist comments were unbelievable and vile. Whilst it wpould be tempting to reply in the same vein I thought most posters were actually quite restrained.
