Something about the dove firming cream advert

Has anyone else noticed that on the Dove Firming Cream advert they say they asked 6 women to try it, but they don't say anywhere that it actually made any difference...just that they all tried it and they have normal shapes (although very very toned shapes!)

Always bugs me

it had sold out in asda so obviously lots of women just wanted to believe it had made a difference!

I received some free samples in the post and discovered my 12 year old daughter using it - like she has any wobbly bits to firm up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad threw some free samples at me yesterday, and said 'there you go, you could do with those'.
I said 'shame they've never invented a cure for baldness isn't it'

proposed changes in the law say that manufacturers of these types of creams will have to prove they work. If they do, they may well be classed as medicines and then the manufacturers will have to disclose the active ingredients for all and sundry to copy!

I thought the ad said that "2 out of 3 noticed a difference"?
