british gas call out and still waiting

I have had no water since 10am an called them. I have a leaking boiler.They were supposed to be here before 6pm and we are an emergency call out.Still waiting I have just called them and they said something must of gone wrong and they have rebooked me.Am I right in thinking that I can get some sort of compensation from them?

I would have thought so - they are awful at service though

This is the second time I have used them this year and they done it last time as well.That was just a boiler service though. He said they work through the night.If I want to leave it untill the morning then I can . I have 3 kids here and no bloody water.

they think that you will leave it to the morning! If you do, they will probably say that you requested them to change to tomorrow and wriggle out of compensation that way

How old are your kids - under 1's get priority. Not aware if any compensation scheme though , sorry. Can you use an immersion heater or is it a combi boiler ?

itis a combi.We are not getting anyone until the morning now.Just had a row with the manager.Cheeky cow said if I need water then turn it back on while we run the baths.There are electrics around the boiler

I was told because I didn't have a baby and the heating was still working I am not an emergency.So Lockets you are exactly that and they still haven't been seen to.You poor things

what call centre is it Lockets? we have been speaking to the Leeds one

we are in west kent.

Ours has been fixed and they were here at 9.10 am. Funny that . wonder if there is another company that do this kind of cover?
