The bar at the bottom of my computer screen (the one that has the start button on, and any minimised screens) has dissapeared and I need it back. Can anyone tell me how?

Please? I've spent ages typing a really looooooooooooooooooong email, minimised the page, and now I can't get it back. Could kick myself!

Strangely mine has gone to but if I move the cursor down there it reappears until I move the cursor away then it vanishes.

It is just with MN up though all other sites are fine.

Minimise all your windows and you should be able to see it. Then right click in a blank area of hte task bar and click "Properties".

Make sure "Keep task bar on top of other windows" is ticked. If "Auto Hide the task bar" is ticked, that's when it disappears and then comes back when you hover the mouse where it should be.

Try moving the cursor down there, clicking and holding and seeiing if you can drag it back up again. Or perhaps it's migrated to a vertical position on the right hand side of the screen? Mine does that and it's a bugger to rectify.

Try this, I quite often "hide" my start bar so that people don't know what I am looking at.

Move your cursor slowly down to the bottom of the screen. It should change into a two directional black arrow (but you may only see one arrow). When you see the black arrow, left click with your mouse and drag your cursor slowly up and your bar should pop back up again.

I have opened MN ina new window and shut the old one down and it is fine now.
