im fed up with north cornwall!i want somewhere with nice school,not to expensive and building/driving work for dh!

how far do you want to move? Same area or new start?
We are in the NW, there are some lovely areas , unspoilt and fairly cheap property, but youll miss the beautiful coast im sure! blackpool isnt quite the same...

It's lovely here in East Dorset but property isn't that cheap. Plenty of driving work (dh runs his own business in this line) and I'd imagine building work too.

I mean, having to pay rent does put constraints on where you live if there's not enough work around to make it. That's why a lot of people live in cities - also there's a real shortage of affordable housing to rent in many rural locations in addition to limited employment opportunities.

What's your budget rental wise?
