...have searched and searched...and if not, would it be totally inconceivable if i were to take a digital photo of a book page and ask a shop to turn it into a poster for me? thats completely against copyright rules isn't it

i just went on the cbeebies website and if you have a printer you could probably print charlie/lola off it and englarge it on a colour photo copier. worth a try, iwatched an episode of it while i was on there

want a poster myself now

jinglybits · 05/11/2006 20:50

thanks 7up good idea but why don't they do posters? they seem to do everything else under the sun in a merchandise! Grrrrrrrr, not fair, stamp, stamp, howl!!!!!!!!!!

..or... a bit illegal i know ... just colour photocopy a lovely picture from the book and enlarge... a bit of a palaver... but will do the job!

aDadOnMumsnet · 06/11/2006 09:01

I know you've been to the pink milk site, but did you see that they have wall planners, height charts, or even wrapping paper that could be put on the wall. None are quite the same as a poster I know!

guyfawkesHEIFERgy · 06/11/2006 10:06

maggiesmama - charlie & lola dolls here

guyfawkesHEIFERgy · 06/11/2006 10:11

for poster, just google image charlie & lola, loads of pictures there, just download and print out....

Thanks for the post though, I have found loads of great C&L stuff for my dd (and me)....

KTeepee · 06/11/2006 11:35

Those dolls are on pre-order - not actually available until 2007 (just in time for ds2's birthday though so may be tempted...)

You could also keep an eye out in bookshops - sometimes the books come with free bits. We got a really large height chart thing last year with the "too small for school" book. Also keep an eye on the CBeebies magazine - they usually have C&L in it - maybe there will be a poster to pull out some week?

maggiesmama · 06/11/2006 11:38

oh thank you. they are gorgeous. what a shame they arent avail for christmas. my dd would have LOVED them.

poshgirlformerlymaggiesmama · 13/11/2006 10:49

was wondering about making a lola doll for my dd for christmas - is it wrong, of they are bringing one out? can i get into trouble?

TheHighwayCod · 13/11/2006 10:51

omg have oyu seent eh charlie and lol party ring bunting?

TheHighwayCod · 13/11/2006 10:52

look

JackieNo · 13/11/2006 11:02

Yes - the bunting's fab, isn't it - saw it in the Pedlars Charlie and Lola party pack (bet it's cheaper to buy things separately though).

heifer · 13/11/2006 11:40

that it. have decided to have charlie and lola stuff for DD birthday (3)... she wouldn't probably prefer barbie or dora. but I have to teach her to have taste.....

charlie and lola all the way....
