Any ideas ladies, I've washed the cover, shoulder straps, head cushion cover thing, basically everything that can be removed has been through washing machine. Everything that can't has been liberally soaped and dettol led and it still stinks.

Have narrowed it down to the straps which aren't removable.

How do you get rid of the stench of vomit??

Soak well with vinegar.( Lemon juice or another strong acid.) Leave it to dry. Then wash it off.

Soak in bicarb solution. Ideally dunk them in a bowl, otherwise, really wet them through with a sponge and leave to dry.

Yes - bicarbonate of soda. It's great for nasty wiffs. Fridge, microwave, kids vomit Grin

brilliant thank you. Going to try bicarbonate then lemon juice if that doesn't work.

Fingers crossed.
