Kids birthday party, how soon do you give out invites.

Just wandered what others did, I have to let the venue know 2 days before of the food requirements.

i have just given mine out and party is on 18th November - 6 have already said yes

gave mine out about 2 weeks in advance, how old is your child/dren?

I do it 2 weeks ahead but I don't book a venue

he will be 8 and its 2 weeks time, I guess I had better get writing tonight lol

Around here it is usually 4-6 weeks depending on whether it is the party season.

About 3/4 weeks here - I like plenty of notice when my children are invited to parties, but that's for my convenience in trying to organise three children's various commitments.

3 weeks ish here as people get booked up otherwise.

have 2 invites here for 1/12 and 2/12, and have replied to both

2 weeks else they get forgotton about.
