How can I share my family calendar online?

Our on the wall paper calendar is no longer sufficient! Can anyone recommend a more technologically advanced way for me and DH to synchronise and keep on top of our complicated family schedule and events?

Thanks, I've heard about Google calendar but haven't used it. Was wondering if there are any other recommendations so that I start off with the best option.

I wonder if you could do Outlook, but tbh we all use Google C. and it works okay for us. My problem is Outlook at work & Google C. for rest of life, I have to double check both.

OP do you use Android?

Cloudless, DH and I both have iPhones.

We use Cozi find it very good as can set reminders between 2 weeks and 1 hour before event , linked to all family members to share.

Google calendar is great. You can have different calendars that link. For example I have a work calendar and a home calender and can also see my son's calendar, all in one place.

Oh, I have no idea about iPhones. We have a joint calendar which either of us can add events to, and we share our personal calendars so we can view each other's timetable.

If you add locations to events, it gives you notifications such as "Time to leave!" Perhaps there is something similar in iPhone.

But mum, do you know how cozi compares to google calendar?

Sorry Gonzales27, I don't know how it compares , just have the basic Cozi and it's dead easy to use and more than happy with it

Ok so have now messed around and downloaded a few apps and my final verdict is that the best option is to set up a google calendar account but to view and edit it through the calendar5 iPhone app! The Google app isn't so easy to view. Cozi doesn't sync with google calendar so you need the app to view it whereas you can share Google calendar with anyone with Internet access (although I like the shared shopping list function on cozi!)

Just my verdict in case anyone else is considering it.
