Afternoon everyone. I am back without having killed anyone and did manage to buy some clothes, but not as many as he needs - poor lad really needs to bulk up a bit. Glad to be home as I have cracking period pain now & a headache, so am waiting for the ibuprofen to start working.

Yay for madame, glad the talk went well. And for badders not needing to buy new shoes for the DSs. That's always a welcome bonus.

I'm glad the general public survived your shopping fancy, poor DS, mine will be the same. Also my DD, who is only 9 often wears age 11/12 or size 6 clothes, tall, thin but too young for some of the, quite frankly, tarty gear for older girls.

Off out with FIL and girlfriend tonight. He rang earlier to check on times and asked if the DC could ring her to sing happy birthday. I said, but they'll see her later. He said, oh, the kids are coming are they? Erm, yes, we do kinda come as a package unless you outwardly say, " any chance you'll can get a sitter"? Now I'm going to feel awkward...it's only a pub tea, and it has a play area so it's not an adults-only zone. Gah!

Never mind him flops. Er, maybe he meant, "oh, are the kids coming?" in a good way?

I love the outdoors. But only if no one else is around. I am a loner really.
The school run drives me nuts.
On the one hand, yay, kids are going to school.
On the other, FUCKSAKE I have to put my school run face on and try not to growl too much at the twats at the school gate.

Now, i know I risk of sounding antisocial, I'm not. I'm just not into playground politics. And the twats around here are fucking epic at playground politics.
