I had a school mate who was called Loveday after a character in the Poldark books (she was born a little too early for the first tv production, but just at the right point for the republishing of the original three books).

Tristan sprang to mind here too, or he might be Mark I suppose. I don't know anything about opera but I have listened to Tristan und Isolde in its entierity and I love it might have travelled to Birmingham for the day to see it performed
