DS2 is currently on an islabike (cnoc) but needs a new bike since he's outgrown it. DS1 has a birthday coming up and so the plan is to buy him a new bike, pass his current bike down to DS2 and sell on DS2s islabike.
DS1 will be 10 and I'm reluctant to get him the beinn 26 small which says its for 8+ when there is a beinn 26 large which says its for 10+. Trouble is he's on the small side and so his inside leg measurement is a few cm short of the minimum inside leg measurement specified for the bike.
Is the inside leg thing crucial? Would you go for the larger one on the basis that he's clearly going to keep growing or go for the bike that is ok now but he will outgrow more quickly?
At £399 I need to make the right decision!
