Wedding rings don't fit after pregnancy

Hi,

Like a lot of people I had to take my wedding rings off when pregnant, at about 6 months due to swelling.

I also had pre-eclampsia so swelling was maybe a little more than most I'm not sure.

Anyway, DD is nearly 4 months old now and I can't get ring back on at all, not even close, won't go past my knuckles.

I only ever wore my wedding ring for 3 months as got married 3 months pregnant and had to take off not log after, wish I had left them on as would rather them be stuck on than off!

How long did it take you to get them back on?

I've put on 2 stone so this doesn't help, but if I loose this will they fit or have fingers just changed.

DH has put on weight since wedding too but his fingers havnt changed so worried mine won't go back now?

I finally submitted and got mine enlarged when DD was 18 months old! Then had DS and 5 months later need to get them made smaller again. Crazy fingers

I know this is an old thread but it still came up when I was wondering when my ring would ever fit again! My baby just turned 6 months and I just tried it on and it fits for the first time since I gave birth! Still a bit snug but I expect after a bit more time will fit better. Hope this helps anyone thinking it won't ever fit again. I haven't lost all my baby weight yet but at least my fingers are starting to get the memo. Xxx
