twiglett nooooooooo! this happened to us when we lived in brixton...you are taking it extraordinarily well...we got lots back off insurance (carpet totalled, vinyl record collection - sleeves totalled)...i am filled with admiration at your equilibrium, you are zen woman

papillon · 27/04/2004 19:21

glad to see the computer is dry!

You take it easy there - just direct and order

Momp · 27/04/2004 19:22

Sorry to hear you're up to your neck in it twiglett.

Don't worry, we'll probably have a 25 degrees heatwave tomorrow so that'll dry out your lovely floor!

Don't overdo the mopping up x

Thunder and lightning over Barnet. And lots of rain. Can't believe that yesterday was such a gorgeous day.

spacemonkey · 27/04/2004 19:26

blimey how selfish did i sound there, really sorry about your flood twiglett!

wilbur · 27/04/2004 19:26

Twiglett, what a nightmare! The storm's just finished here in Battersea, but we're on the 2nd floor so we never get floods Couldn't hear ourselves speak for the rain drumming on the roof though. Hope your floor dries out soon.

Kayleigh · 27/04/2004 19:27

ooops, also meant to say, sorry about your flood twiglett.

Hulababy · 27/04/2004 19:35

We had all the horrid heavy rain and big storms yesterday. It was horrid Had rain all day again too. Many of roads are just one big puddle. There's been flooding of the train and tram tracks in places too. And some schools, shops, etc. Luckily we are up on 5th floor.

Hope you gtet your place sorted out Tiglett Sorry.

bossykate · 27/04/2004 20:03

sorry to hear that, twiglett. quite spectacular here in brixton, too, but thankfully no puddles in the house except the ones i brought home with me.

scrubbing floors is great for foetal positioning.

GeorginaA · 27/04/2004 20:11

Oh twiglett what a pain JUST what you need.

Can you get your mum to do all the scrubbing when she gets there tomorrow?
