Why do people cancel plans and not tell you?

Friend wanted to go to shopping with her today, asked me on Wednesday if I wanted to go, she said she might be going into work that day. I asked her to ring me early Friday morning to confirm times. Nothing. So I just rang her and she is at home doing nothing but she has not been paid so cannot go. Did not even think to contact me.

And I have done nothing all day (yes it is a small small life I lead) because she TOLD me that we had plans.

Rarrrrr.

I know people like that - it really pisses me off. NOw if they don't contact me before the day I make other plans and think 'f*ck 'em'. It is really rude imo and shows a complete lack of consideration for the other person.

Hm...sorry, but with Brits, in that respect, nothing surprises me....it i something tat does drive me mad big time, and always thought it was the german part of me, lol!

It is possible that she just forgot...Sometimes that happens, as I have had family members even that say something about going out and just forgot about it. I wouldn't hold it against her, unless it became pretty often.
